Spring 2022 trends look a little familiar…….

Spring has always been one of my favorite seasons. Springtime symbolizes rebirth and renewal so what better time to find inspiration for your wardrobe. Whether you are looking to update “closet must haves” or step out of your comfort zone, Spring is the perfect season to experiment.

 It isn’t surprising to see past fashion trends repeat themselves, but it seems that Spring 2022 trends are representative of an even larger mix of past trends. The colors this Spring are very bright and bold, much like the color trends from the 80’s and 90’s. Color blocking is a returning trend that is an excellent way to show off those bright and bold colors. Lots of pinks, yellows, blues, but let’s pin the topic of Spring 2022 color trends for another blog. Popular patterns for Spring 2022 include bright floral prints, gingham and checkers. Check out the sneak peek above from our Easter Weekend collection. I absolutely love gingham in this shade of purple! Trending materials include crocheted knits and corduroy. Crop tops and mini skirts are making a huge comeback. But don’t worry if you’re a little more modest, dress over pants, long tunics and oversized blazers are also in this Spring. Speaking of modest, the return of cut-outs allows for the perfect way to modestly show off some skin. There are a variety of cut-outs that include bare shoulders, collarbone, back, waist or even the belly area. The Y2K halter the perfect example of a returning cut-out. Sweater vests are returning as well. Perfect to throw over a short sleeve shirt or wear alone. And last but not least, who doesn’t love pedal pushers??
